Team doctors Austria Prince Johan Friso states that suffered severe brain damage after snow buried, 17 February. Dutch Queen Beatrix’s second son may not be conscious again.
Doctors Wolfgang Koller said that the medical team had done the best procedure for 50 minutes to revive the prince. But, to no avail.
The results of an MRI scan showed his brain was severely damaged condition of the body and head after an avalanche buried for 15 minutes. “It is clear that the lack of oxygen during the buried lead to the severe brain damage.” he said, quoted by the Telegraph.
In the near future, Prince Friso will be moved to a private clinic for more intensive care. There is still hope the prince awoke from the coma, although it may take years.
43-year-old prince is one of five skiers who dare go beyond the safe play area, in the midst of an avalanche warning in Lech, an upscale town which is a popular tourist destination the Dutch royal family.
During this time, Prince Friso who has a degree in mechanical engineering lives in London with his wife and two daughters. He worked as chief financial officer for Urenco, a uranium enrichment company based in Berkshire.
