Downhill skiing is a hobby that I have and now I’m going to tell you a little bit about it.
First you will need some equipment like skis, helmet, ski sticks, ski boots, good outdoor clothing and a slope.
There are diffrent kind of slopes but they are usally divided into three diffrent colours according to the skill level you need to ride them.
Blue: Easy slopes for starters or for those who are just looking for a chill ride.
Red: A little bit harder than blue, for those who know pretty much about downhill skiing.
Black: For the experts, one wrong turn on a black slope could make you end up really hurt.
There are diffrent types of downhill skiing.
Regular downhill skiing: Riding on groomed slopes.
Offpist: Riding outside of the groomed slopes, so you can ride on fresh snow and between trees and stones (this is my personal favourite).
Tricking: When you ride in the park (the park is a place with many jumps and rails).
Downhill skiing is kind of hard to learn and it is kind of expensive, but when you are in the slopes there is no better feeling.
