The Redeeming of Tonya Harding

I’m probably in the minority, but I have always thought the two people in sport, who got punished harder than they should was Pete Rose, and the one this article is about, Tonya Harding. Sure she was a partial party in the attack against Nancy Kerrigan, but wasn’t directly involved in what her husband at the time did with his friends.

She was guilty in what did she know? And why did she constantly lie to the FBI, when they was seeking the sources behind the attack? Sure fear probably played apart in it, and seeking her fame in the Olympics was the other. But the association in charge of punishment to me was completely harsh on this one female.

And it do seems that as a male, they are allowed to get away with much more in sports. Charles Barkley, John McEnroe, Dennis  Rodman, and these other Prima Donna seems to just has prosper in sport today. Maybe not Rodman , but Barkley a reporter of host of sport shows. McEnroe same ways , but able to continue in sport with bad behavior. And the many others we constantly see.

But for Tonya Harding, the rules and book eliminated her from evening announcing a game in her sports. It’s time to lift the ban, and let her in away become part of skating, even if she must follow strict guidelines to do it.
