28th september 1979, he may have been born as Brandon Cole Margera, but when he was just three-years-old his grandfather gave him the name that millions of viewers would come to know him by years later: Bam. The name was a reflection of the boy’s habit of slamming into walls and running around uncontrollably and that habit would later serve as his main claim to fame.
Although Bam was raised in a peaceful middle-class area of West Chester, Pennsylvania by his even-tempered parents, Phil and April he was a rebel from birth. It wasn’t long before he dropped out of his high school simply because his best friend, Chris Raab, was expelled for smearing feces on a locker.

Bam, an avid skateboarder, began pursuing his professional skateboarding career. His rebellious nature drove him to attempt seemingly insane stunts and ultimately produce a video under the CKY groups which would later spark the interest of MTV recruiters and Jackass collaborators. Bam margera is part of Team element, the demo team for Element Skateboards. He has many sponsors, among these are; Element, Destructo, Speed metal bearings, electric visual, fairmans skateshop, Adio, volcom, Diakka, Elestric, spitfire, Destroyer, jone’s soda and CKY. Margera started out his career as a professional skateboarder after dropping out of high school in the eleventh grade. He soon cought to the attention of television producer Jeff Tremaine after Tremaine came across video of Margera and several of his friends skateboarding and performing crazy stunts. This is how Bam was recruited into the Jackass crew. Although he was well known in the skateboarding world with an extremely large sponsorship package, Jackass brought him into the national spotlight. Along with being featured in the television series, he also co-starred in Jackass: The Movie and Jackass 2.

His love life
In june 2003 Bam Margera Married Jenn Rivell, Rivell played a big part in several of his projects however, the relationship ended in 2005 beacause of rumors Margera had slept with Jessica Simpson, Bam claimed that nothing had happened after he and Simpson met at an MTV Video Music Awards after-party in 2006.
In November, 2006, Margera filed for “Protection From Abuse” from Rivell after she broke into his house. He further alleged that Rivell had exhibited irrational and aggressive behavior towards him on several previous occasions including stealing several computers and vandalizing his house immediately after their initial breakup.
Fortunately, Bam found love again after being reunited with his childhood friend, Melissa Rothstein. The couple was engaged in 2006 and married the following year. The months leading up to their blissful wedding were documented in yet another series for MTV, Bam’s Unholy Union.

The couple now resides in what they’ve dubbed “Castle Bam.” The gothic-inspired chateu has fourteen acres of land and was the setting for the filming of Viva La Bam. In the driveway of castle bam, Bam margera built a huge skate ramp which later got him into trouble with the government. Bam was inspired by other professional skaters like Ali boulala, Tom Penny, Ray Maldonado and Arto Saari, he has also inspired many skaters worldwide, and although he no longer competes at the most elite levels of skateboarding, Bam continues to be a member of Team Element, skating proudly for Element Skateboards and a variety of other sponsors. In conclusion I would like to thank Bam Margera for inspiring me to continue skateboarding that is why i chose to present him.
