First of all you want to be able to ride your deck without any problems, easy okay.
Now put on foot on the tail (the back) and your front foot in the center to under the front bolts but not on the bolts, the further your foot is to the tail to higher you will go but the harder it is to control, the further tto the bolts the lower you will go but it will be easier to control.
once you have your ollie position, you will need to know how an ollie works: the basics of an ollie is that the tail hits the ground and goes up and your front foot levels out your deck in mid air.
So now just drive your back foot into the ground, jump, and level out your deck.
If your have never skated before this will be tricky for you don’t know the basic trick yet (the olli).
Now for some problem fixing: If your ollying properly (driving your foot into the ground and leveling it out) but your deck isn’t coming off the ground alot or not at all its because your not jumping when you ollie. Skateboarding consists of several differnt movments at once in order to complete the trick properly.
Remember when your jump, its not always how high you can jump but how high you can bend your legs up, thats how all good skaters ollie high, your bend your knees up.
Remember, no one got this trick the first or even second time around, it took me 2 months to get it so i can ollie 5 times in a row! Never give up and the more you practise the better you will get!
