Ok, a lot of people have different opinions of what to buy and use when you first decide to start skateboarding… that is if you do want to start. There are also many things that affect it, like how much money you have available etc.

This should give you a little help. I would recommend for your very first deck, since your still in the translation, maybe borrow or buy one kind of cheap from a friend. If after that you decide you do want to skate, I would say buy completes for your 2-3 next decks, this way you don’t have to decide on all the different companies there is, and it should save you a little dough also.

After about 3-5 decks, (which is expensive and takes a while to get through) your probably pretty committed if you still want to skate. I would now recommend buying separate parts. By now you probably know which companies you like and fit your skate needs best. You can also mix and match different companies in decks, instead of having all zero or flip etc. You can also keep your wheels and trucks if you like them a lot since they usually last a long while longer then the wooden deck itself which can get ruined in water, snap, crack, or just ware out.
