Sniper Weapons

Snipers. They are the ultimate killing machines, if you know how to use them. Snipers are used mostly long distance, not for rushing. Some really good snipers can pull of rushing however, and I respect those people incredibly. They are camping weapons (behind boxes, in windows, that sort of thing). Patience is the key with sniping. If you feel you always have to rush out and get kills, go with spraying. The way of sniping is to let the kills come to you. 

We currently have two styles of snipers in soldier front, bolt action, and semi-automatic

Semi-Automatic guns do come in handy once in a while; They give you the chance to squeeze off a couple more shots if you miss that first shot

Bolt Action is a little bit harder, because you can’t fire as fast, but if you get good enough, you wont need a second shot.

Semi-Automatic

PSG-1

A pretty well rounded sniper rifle, costs about 20000 SP.

This gun is really good for beginners, because its very cheap, and its semi automatic, meaning you have the chance to shoot a few shots off before zooming out and reloading. It has a 5 round clip, so you can squeeze off 5 shots (hopefully killing 5 people) before reloading. Between every shot, there is a little bit of recoil, but you would get used to that as you practice. The major downside is that the gun is a little hefty, and slows down movement. But other than that, great gun overall.

Yes, this is a very good gun, but DO NOT epect one hit kills every time. Dont shoot someone, unscope, and immediately look for someone else; make SURE that person is dead. Ever since ARTC came out, people have come out of being shot with 10 hp and end up killing me… All in all, this gun will not one hit about half of the time, leaving 50, 41, or 10 hp.

Dragunov

This is a complete monster of a sniper rifle. Very powerful, and every time you fire, you hear the roar of a dragon. It costs 56,000 sp.. and you need the rank of a second lieutenant..

This gun is pretty good. It has a 10 magazine capacity, so you pretty much would never have to worry about reloading or running out of shots. The recoil is a little less then the PSG so it makes it easier between shots. The power is very high on the gun, but a drawback is the scope, which kinda looks like it has a triangle thing in the middle. Eh, it could have been better but whatever. the gun is EXTREMELY heavy.. you wouldnt be expecting to move fast at all with this gun

Not really a fan of this gun. Although it is stronger than the PSG (more one-hits), I couldnt deal with the bulkiness.

M110 SASS

A very nice sniper rifle. It is pretty cheap, costs 46,000 sp but needs the rank of a second lieutenant. It has a built in silencer (a silencer on a sniper??) so every time you fire, you hear a little cough. It is pretty funny.

This gun is alright. The 10 magazine clip is pretty useful, like i said before, letting you squeeze off a few more shots without worrying about reloading. The one perk it has is it is the lightest of the semi-automatics, meaning you can move relatively freely with this gun. The thing i HATE is the scope. It comes down like a standard scope with four lines coming down from each side of the screen. But then, the lines STOP and there is an empty space where the senter should be. Eh this could have been a lot better.

Definitely not a fan of this gun. It is pretty weak overall.. in a couple of games I would have maybe 5 or 6 one hit kills, the rest being tanks and me screaming wtf what is your hp every few seconds. The lightness i do appreciate though, but other than that, pretty sucky overall gun

Bolt Action

FR-F2

This is one of my all time favorite sniper rifles. Bolt action yes, but this gun can gaurantee a one hit kill in the chest or head almost every time, exeptions being if the person is wearing armor. It costs 33,000 sp, and requires a rank higher than trainee

Amazing sniper rifle. Bolt action means that the process goes scope, fire, un-scope, pump out a bolt, and rescope. It might not bee to preferable for a few a people, but try the gun out. You’ll get used to the process. One advantage to the bolt action thing is that when the gun unscopes to pump out a bolt, you automatically get a one second picture of your surroundings. So if an enemy decided to sneak up on him, you would see him and change your plan accordingly. Anyway, the gun is very very accurate. One hit kills almost all the time. the cross hair is pretty interesting too, with the standard four lines coming down and stopping, but unlike the other sniper, it has a cross in the middle. Personally, this helps me a lot, it just does. The gun is also pretty light, which is good, and has a 10 round clip.

I LOVE THIS GUN. IF YOU WANT TO TRY IT OUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND YOU GO FOR IT

AWP

This is a pretty good bolt action gun. It costs 54,000 sp, and requires a rank of second lieutenant. The thing that comes with AWP is.. a DOUBLE ZOOM. On standard snipers, you get a single zoom, meaning you right click and right click again and your out of the zoom. For this, You can zoom, and zoom again! cool huh.

Its a quality sniper. Double zoom means you can take out any box camper any day. Just double zoom and there head all of a sudden doesnt look so small any more. It definitely comes in handy for that. Its a pretty heavy gun, not too bad though. It comes with a 5 round clip, so you dont have the comfort of 10 bullets. But, it does scope and unscope faster than the FR-F2 ( the bolt action part, I mean) which is pretty useful. A pretty cool thing I might have found out by accident was that the gun is really really accurate with no scopes. I went 7/10 for no scopes once, when people rushed me..it was awesome.

Yes this is a good sniper too. It is really strong too, meaning it will one hit almost every time, and even hit like 78 damage for limb shots. From time to time, you would get the 28 hp tank but eh just shake it off and orgasm of the the double scope.
