Is American Idol Over?
Is the show dying? Will it last?

American Idol, the show started around nine years ago, and has been great for almost all those years, but the quality of the show has gone down dramatically ovser the past three years.
In the beginging there were three judges and one very attractive host.
Always showing off her fine jewelry, mending the broken hearts caused by her two teammates. Providing support and hope for those underdogs. Many people say she isn’t qualified for the job, when in reality she is more then qualified. She is a (or at least was) choreographer, dancer, pop-singer and amazing actress.
Always they’re for the laughs. Randy is a great guy who is extremely talented and is an amazing record/music producer. It just feels right seeing him behind the desk over-using the phrase “Dog” and “Brotha”
It seems fitting to have a British television producer on an American based television show showcasing America’s best singers. But without Simon, the show would never have taken off, he is, and will always be, the bread and butter of the show. Yes, he wont be returning for the next season.
Ok i get it, he’s attractive and makes alot of money. Don’t get rid of him and Idol has a chance.
But then somewhere in the land of Hollywood they decided to add,
This is where American idol started to go down the hill of success, I’m not saying I don’t love Kara, but Hollywood always messes with great things, I felt no need to add another judge. I’ve never heard of her before in my life, it took me half the season to even remember her name. However in reality she is an amazing song writer and I recommend you all to check out some of her pieces.
Then Paula left for some reason and Hollywood thought lets replace the girl who annoyed the crap out of everyone with a loud obnoxious Blondie. I kid Ellen, she is amazing. But i don’t believe she has what it takes to judge people upon musical performance. She has had a past in song and loves to dance but she didn’t seem to fit.
So now its
Randy, Simon,Kara & Ellen.
Next year it’ll be Randy, Kara and Ellen.
Its hard to say what America will do, but ever since Paula left people have been tuning out, and with Hollywood being how it is. We’ll probably see American idol turn into a dancing competition with the stars from Step-Up 3D being the hosts and judges.
