Early Discouragement

When you first enter the water, usually you will filling a chill as you body feels the sudden cold as you dip your limb into the water. This shock usually scares off beginners from taking the first dip into the water. However, once your body is inside the water the experience is completely different.

I prefer to swim in a swimming pool. There is usually no surprises. In the ocean or even the river, the environment changes, either the waves or even what is lurching at the surface below.

Escape to Tranquility

As you swim under the water, you are shielded from the noises outside. This is an excellent support if you are suffering from the daily drone of the big city. This provide an escape into a new and more tranquil world.

Swimming is the closest we can hope to the freedom of flight. If the objective of the swim is for relaxation, the breast stroke is the most suitable style. As we swim using this style, we have no choice but to relax.

Enjoy the Watery environment

It is best to glide as much as possible when you swim, this will reduce the amount of expanded energy and give us the most time to enjoy the watery world. Observe the sound you hear while you are underwater. There is a soothing sound of the waves, occasionally disrupted by the sound of bubbles as you blow out the air through your nose and also the sound of water as your hands breaks the surface.

If you are wearing goggles, you also have an opportunity to look around underwater. Observe how the pattern as the light from the sun shines through the water. Also look at how the color differs as it is further away from you.

Health Benefits

Even though we do not feel tired as we have a relaxing swim using the breast stroke, the way you need to control your breathing underwater automatically improves your lung capacity. Also, the fact that your hand strokes are challenged with against the water, you will build muscles in those areas.

All these benefits without putting unnecessary stress on your bones and joints.
