For some, running is more than a hobby.  Running is a lifestyle; one that keeps you active and optimistic, and not mention lean.  It promotes healthy bloodflow and stronger, more efficiant lungs.  Running in the long-term will make daily chores and activities less tiring.  Maybe that trip up the stairs won’t seem so daunting or exhausting anymore.  It’s little things like these that make the ”pain” of running worth the while.   Running improves many aspects out side of the house hold as well.  Sports will become a breeze if you have an improved cardiovascular system.  Why?  What would football be without running?  Tennis?  Field hockey?  Basketball?  Going into a sport with that running experiance can greatly give you the upperhand.

Looking better is also a joy that makes running worth while.  Running uses every part of your body, your legs, your arms, your abs, and as a result all will benefit from an endurance run.  Fat will melt away over time, and be replaced with lean muscle.

Nutrition is vital for running, if you eat garbage you will run like garabage.  Give up McDonalds and save money at the same time.  Eating a wide variety of food will ensure that you get all of your vitamins and nutrients.  Carbohydrates can be a welcomed boost to energy as well.  Pasta is famous for such carbs, as are cliffbars and other energy supplements.
