“(Team Principal) Martin (Whitmarsh) has talked to me about a new contract, so I know that at one time it will be discussed, and I think we will sit together (to discuss),” said Hamilton, as quoted by Reuters. Asked whether he felt would stay with McLaren, Hamilton retorted bluntly, “Yes, I think so.”
Whitmarsh also acknowledges hope that Hamilton continued to survive until the next annual and achieved much success with McLaren. “There is deep affection between him and the team and I believe the love story that will continue to survive until next year.”
