The latest news on Danica’s future is that their is no new news.
Danica has strongly hinted that she plans to stay with the IRL, and Andretti-Green racing has claimed they have signed her. Chip Ganassi at one point seemed poised to offer her a ride to keep her in the IRL, and it would clearly be a ride with which she could win races.
Danica has been talking to Nascar, and shops like Michael Waltrip Racing, Tony Stewart Racing, and Dale Earnhardt racing’s Nationwide team. A move to Nascar would be tough, but some seat time in Nationwide might help her make the transition.
If she wants to win races in 2010, her best move would be to Ganassi, and the IRL would be absolutely foolish to let their media gem jump ship.
