After 11 games the Celtics lead their conference sitting at a record of 9-2. They managed to beat the higly favourized Heat twice already. But what is even more important they look as consistent as ever.
After loosing in game 7 of the finals last season, the Celtics weak point became obvious. The loss of Perkins ment the already thin inside became even more decompensated! Rebounding became the key. And the otherwise perfect defensive team had suddenly a problem downlow! Celtics summon Shaq to fill the inside.
Much doubt was voiced about Shaq. Many still belive him not to be able to contribute to the team much. I belive that he will be the element, that will in the end prove essential for the Celtics in this season. Celtics have the biggest star and future of the team in the young PG Rondo. His contribution to the team is awesome. He playes 40 minutes a game. He is the smartest and quickest player on the team. Now with that kind of a PG Shaq could get all the assists he needs to deliver points on the board, even tho he only plays 20 minutes a game.
As until now he averages around 6 rebounds and round 10-11 points a game. Once Perkins gets back the Celtics should become a team with strong inside presence and rebounding capability. With good team defense, the best 6th man in Glen Davis, great scorers (Allen, Pierce, Garnett) and the solid backup (West, Robinson and Erden). I belive Boston could make it into the finals.
What do you think?

They re definately doin good ! And Shaq, who is older than christmas, is playing surprisingly well ! Good Article
Shaq may be beyond his prime, but he is a diligent ball player and still exhibits a strong dedication to the game. No one should underestimate Shaquille O’Neal. Thanks for your thoughts.
I think so. I saw him play yesterday against the Hawks. He still can deliver the easy dunk. Amd he is a force on the board. I just hope he can avoid the 3s turnovers!
