Welcome to my paintball strategies. First things off, a little bit about myself, i play front a 5 man team in Virgina. We have competed in many tournaments and come in first a few times. Now I’m not saying my team is number 1 or better than any of your teams, I’m just offering some advice. And i welcome anyone who finds flaws or has any comments about this guide.
So, if your reading this you are looking for information on taking your paintball team to the next level. My strategies work for all size teams.
First off take the time to plan out what you and your team is going to do before the match. Walk the field with your team, plan out where everyone is going and what your role to the team is. Just taking a little time to familiarize yourselves with the field can make a huge difference. I can’t tell you how many times me and my team have faced an unprepared team. it is obvious that they didn’t take time to talk about what their doing, many of them randomly yelling for help and many of them getting out very, very early in the game.
Make sure all your gear works. This sounds like common sense but again, many times I’ve seen players, even me and my team, come onto the field not realizing that their gun is out air or the batteries in your hopper have died.
Practice makes perfect! The more you and your team get out and practice the breakout drills and sliding and shooting lanes and break shooting the better your team will do in tournaments. Even if you don’t have bunkers you and your team can go to a friends back yard and practice the breakout drills and strategies.
