Brendon Dovey recently started a company called Custom Motor sport in New Zea land. He specialises in the NZV8 Touring cars, drift cars and high performance road car modifications. It’s kind of like a smaller scale version of ’pimp your Ride but in New Zealand and because it’s a relatively new business it is commonly unknown.
We are now in the advertising stage and thought it would be great to hear ideas or comments on the best marketing strategies, if anyone has come across the business what they thought of it and in general any comments that may be useful to help out instead of paying enormous fees to a professional for unguaranteed results.
Brendon is also part of a local race team that is doing quite well and is great exposure but at the same time he is fortunate enough to have found a job he loves that is also his hobby. There is nothing more satisfying than to see the after affects of a finished performance car when it started out at nothing.
How are other Motor sport teams going, any tips or ideas you can give would be great.
