Carlos Checa Gains Victory in Race One Superbike World Championship at Phillip Island Circuit
The former MotoGP rider open the battle for 2011 WSBK crown.

It’s not so hard for former MotoGP rider Carlos Checa to win in first race in World superbike Championship at Phillip Island Circuit Australia. The Spaniard beat all other rider with his Ducati 1198 Superbike and gains 25 point perfectly. Checa rides confidently and lead the race in lap three and never look back.
The second winner is last year Superbike world champions Max Biaggi from Aprilia Alitalia team. Biaggi try to chase Checa like he did in super pole but he not enough closer to the front man. In this race Biaggi leave his sacred number 3 and use number 1 as he deserved to get it.
The last podium filled by Leon Haslam from BMW Motorad team. Last year he rides with Suzuki GSX-R1000 on Alstare team but now he ride BMW S1000RR which very powerful bike. There is still race two in this afternoon. Stay tuned and don’t go anywhere.
