UFC on Fx, Shogun vs. Vera

Well shouldnt all us MMA fans be thankful, what a night, it is really fitting that it was a great round of fights seeing as UFC 149 (the main card at least was so terrible). the UFC needed a great night with teh fear of falling viewing figures  and it got it, with teh main event being one of the best fights in the histroy of the UFc wit both Rua and Vera showing incredible amounts of courage and the co main event boosting Machida up into title contention. The opener of the main card was ended with a spectaculr knock out that has told the world that Mike Swick is here to stay, and Lauzon has put himself in the mix for title contention with yet another impressive bout. The biggest news to come out of last nights action is the decision to let machida take a stab at Jon Jones if he comes through his bought with Dan Henderson which will not be by any means a wallk in the park for Jones
