Push kick is used when your trying to push your target back either to try and throw him off balance, create the proper distance for another kick, and/or trying to make a break in his attacks to start up your own attacks or get a small break.
Performing The Kick
- First you must start in kicking stance.
- Then you must bring your kicking knee up to about 90 degrees.
- You must extend your elevated leg towards your taget and push them away from you with the bottom of your foot.
- You must then bring your leg back at another 90 degree angle before you place it on the ground.
