Lesnar Retires!

Brock Lesnar retired from mixed martial arts after an embarassing loss to Alistair Overeem in the 1st round. Alistair Overeem stopped him with one vicious kick to the body at 2:26 of the first round in their heavyweight bout at UFC 141 last night.

Lesnar is the UFC’s biggest pay-per-view star and the former heavyweight champion, but his return from a 14-month injury absence ended with Lesnar staggering and crumpling against the cage.

Lesnar put up one hell of a fight and he was the favourite going into the match but it takes more than that to stop Alistair Overeem. I was really hoping to see more from Lesnar. 

I now hope he returns to the World Wrestling Entertainment and becomes world champion again. Lesnar is way too talented for UFC and they just made a joke of him.
