A regulation team in field Lacrosse consists of 12 players: usually 6 attackers and 6 defenders.
There is no intentional body contact permitted in the game.
A ‘draw’ at the centre of the field is used to start the game, and it is also used after each goal and to start the second half of the game. Note: There is no offsides in the game of lacrosse.
The ball cannot touch any part of the player’s body (including the hands). Exception: The goalie.
At all times, the players must be in control of their lacrosse stick. Players should carry the stick low and away from their opponents’ heads.
