Rick Nash, a five time NHL all-star, has been traded to the New York Rangers for Brandon Dubinsky, Artem Amisinov, Tim Erixon, and a 1st round draft pick in the 2013 NHL Draft. If the Rangers advance to the 2013 Stanley Cup Final, Columbus will retain its third-round pick. I’m an Islanders fan so I don’t like this trade since we ussualy vs the Rangers an average of 3 times in the regular season. The Rangers have been looking for offence and now they have it! Nash will replace Marion Gaborik since Gaborik will be out for the first 6 months due to surgery. Nash gave a list of teams he would be willing to go to, to the Jackets GM Scott Howson, and the Rangers were on the list. The Rangers didn’t lose anybody big so this will be a big step up for the Rangers offence.
