Losses

The spirit was there to start,

Each one came out with lots of heart,

Everyone knew what he had to do,

That lone puck is there to pursue.

These new rules limit the goalie more,

And at times will help the foe to score,

Blocking the shots have not changed,

It’s other things that have been rearranged.

No fan likes to cheer any losses,

Winning teams are now the bosses,

Home teams prefer to win there,

Always knowing their fans really care.

When these players are losing,

It certainly is not by their choosing,

Now as the seats start to empty,

All were very angry with the referee.
