Traffic congestion near downtown Los Angeles may reach epic proportions as tens of thousands of sports fans are expected to pour into the Staples Center.

On Sunday at noon, the Los Angeles Kings host the Phoenix Coyotes in Game 4 of the NHL’s Western Conference Finals. They will take the ice just ten minutes after the Amgen Tour of California cycling race wraps up near the arena.

Then at 7:30 p.m., the Clippers are expected to take on the San Antonio Spurs in Game 4 of the NBA Playoffs.

The arena plans to open its doors at 9 a.m. and will be offering free doughnuts and coffee to early birds.

Fans are being urged to take advantage of public transportation or the free bike valet service, as well as, free shuttle service from the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
