Hockey Trivia Eleven – Vancouver Canucks was so much fun, we’re doing it again! In the twelfth version of Hockey Trivia, there are four more fun and interesting trivia questions about the National Hockey League’s Vancouver Canucks.

Q. In what round of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft did the Vancouver Canucks draft Pavel Bure?
A. Pavel Bure was a steal, going in the sixth round, 113th overall. Pavel would score 60 goals twice for the Canucks and surpass the 50 goal mark on three other occasions. He won the Calder Trophy as NHL rookie of the year with Vancouver. He won the Rocket Richard Trophy as the NHL’s leading goal scorer in 2000 and 2001 with the Florida Panthers.
Q. In the 1983 NHL Entry Draft, the Vancouver Canucks selected what future Hall of Fame player?
A. Ninth overall, the Canucks picked Cam Neely. Neely would have a great career with Vancouver and the Boston Bruins, hitting the 50 goal plateau on three occasions. His career was cut short by a serious knee injury.
Q. On March 13, 1976, how many penalty minutes were there in a game between the Canucks and the New York Rangers?
A. Zero. Not a single penalty was called.
Q. What NHL legend recorded his 1000th career assist as a member of the Vancouver Canucks?
A. In 1998, on a goal from Alexander Mogilny, Mark Messier recorded his 1000th career assist becoming the sixth player in NHL history to reach the milestone.
