Being claimed off waivers a while back,

Watch as he plays with a knack,

Although on the previous team he struggled,

Here on different lines has been juggled.

This team has taken him into the fold,

For a new chance he has been doled,

In the last game there were goals and an assist,

Showing that with the team he can coexist.

Before coming here he had this number,

Hockey sticks are not only made of lumber,

As the fans have made him welcome,

Did you notice where he came from?

Each game he seems more comfortable,

Always showing he’s willing and able,

Having come close to the greatest award,

Hoping one season to get that reward.
