Back on Course

These last five losses are behind them,

All the while causing much mayhem,

As they get ready for the game tonight,

Then coming out with plenty of fight.

Each team shutting the other down,

In the third the foe had a breakdown,

As the captain proved his worth,

A person who is very down-to-earth.

While the goalie went every which way,

They certainly did come out to play,

Even though there were only two to score,

There’ll be no meeting behind a closed-door.

On this day we get a new President,

Another win they will try to implement,

See the flightless bird stay on the ice,

Hope their play is not very precise.
