“Look – I’m a man, I’m young, and I’m rich. And I like women.
And because I’m rich, women like me. And if I want to have some fun with them, what’s wrong with that?
Yes, I know a man can have only one wife, but these women are not wives, they are just playthings who keep me entertained. I don’t flaunt them in public, or boast about them to my friends. And who is that woman? Well. she’s the woman who is at home, who is my wife, and who is the mother of my children.
Do I feel that I have betrayed her? No, I don’t. Surely most women know that man is not by nature a monogamous animal. In my mother’s country this is well understood, and women are taught that -
