Based on defense and experience. If things play out, Pittsburgh should win by 10 to 20 points.

In the upcoming Super Bowl, the Pittsburgh Steelers should defeat the Arizona Cardinals by 10 to 20 points. I say should, as upsets are always possible, but unlikely in this situation. The Arizona Cardinals have two things going for them – Kurt Warner and Larry Fitzgerald, and that’s about all they have. They lack defense, intensity, and experience to last with Pittsburgh. Oh, they may hang in there for a quarter or a half, but when its time to perform, Pittsburgh will be there, Arizona will fold.
Warner and Fitzgerald are amazing players, no doubt, but they cannot carry a team to a World Championship alone. Arizona has never come close to sniffing a Championship in a Super Bowl, and the choke factor will rise up and cut off their oxygen when faced with an experienced and physically tough Pittsburgh team. Fitzgerald will not be able to run through tackles against the Steelers, and he can forget about making yards after the catch. He will get his catches, but they will be of the short gain type, and most of them will come in the second half when the game is in hand for Pittsburgh. Kurt Warner will have a decent game, and may actually put up good numbers, but it will not be nearly enough to pull out a victory.
On offense, Pittsburgh will promote their ball control offense, with an occasional 20 yard play by Hines Ward or Willie Parker. By the end of the 3rd quarter the Arizona defense will have been on the field for so many plays they will just be going through the motions. Count on the Pittsburgh defense to get at least 3 turnovers that should result in 7 to 10 points.
The final score: Pittsburgh 31 Arizona 20
