Week 6; Colts go down, Palmer goes west

This past Sunday, my beloved Bengal’s got the colt monkey off their back, all be it without Manning, enroot to a 27-17 victory over the winless colts.  Young Andy had his best game as a pro to date and all is well in the land of the tiger. Well not well, they still haven’t sold out a home game. But they are getting better.

The thing is every time things start to get right in the world, some talking head on the TV Radio or Net has to come up with what a great decision Mikey Boy has made. Well it’s going to start happening again because Hell has froze over and the cheap old SOB has gone against Type again.

Either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning it broke that pending a physical, Carson Palmer was traded to the Oakland Raiders for a first rounder nest year and a conditional first rounder the following year. So, going against his policy of a contract is a contract, he made a deal that anyone would have jumped on with both left feet. Why should he get credit for being afraid that if he didn’t make the deal, the ghost of P.B. would rise and haunt him for the rest of his living days? Really, he gets credit for this, well does he get credit for the earthquake he started from Al Davis Spinning in his grave over this deal, I think not.

Look overal I’m happy withthe way things are going right now. The Bengals haven’t been Buried yet, and losing a Veteren QB hasn’t hurt them. We might even be playing more then one game this comming January, but this is still only six games. If any one things they cant bury themselves over the next ten weeks, well you just haven’t bee paying attetion. The biggest thing they need right now is to generate some fan interest and maybe sell out a home game or two. what possible sort of Epthany will Mikey boy have to fix thisthat problem??????
