The Texans: That’s What I Am Talking About

For once in a long time. The Houston Texans looked like a playoff calliber team. Granted it was the Oakland Raiders but last year when we played them, they best us fair and square.

Today was different. Sure we did not win the turnover, and our offense was not clicking as much as it usually is, but our defense was truly destructive and they showed that in the stat sheet and on the scoreboard. Brian Cushing got a saftey in the third quarter and Mario Williams forced a fumble/sack. Those two names will be in lights. Steve Slaton showed some of his moves from last year, running for a 35 yard touchdown and catching a screen pass an going the distance for another score.

Jacoby Jones also ran back a punt for a touchdown, and Kris Brown was 2 of 3 kicking. A mediogre offense really was helped by a defense which could have stopped anyone, and they needed some upliftting spirits after dismayl perfromance the last 3 weeks.

We are getting the pieces together.
