The Texans: Heart Attack and No Respect
Week seven.

Yet again it amazes me the lack of respect the Texans get. In the pregame show Dan Marino seemed disgusted that Matt Schaub (who coming into this week was first in TD’s, second in yards, adn sixth in QB rating) was on the top 10 list of quarterbacks in the NFL.
The first half against the San Francisco 49ers was a half to prove the naysayers wrong and he did just that, throwing for 2 TDs, one to Owen Daniels and another to Steve Slaton.
Our defense played another stellar half of football and the Texans were up 21-0 at the break. Spirits were high in Reliant Stadium and even after the third quarter we were still up 21-7. The fourth quarter was sort of a flip flop from the Arizona Cardinals game as the 49ers got within 3 (24-21) with less then two minutes in the game and they had the ball. Luckily we managed to pick off Alex Smith to decide the game and to be honest I’d rather almost lose then almost win.
A win is a win in football, and I will take this any day of the week, no matter how ugly it gets.
Next week: vs Buffalo, prediction: Texans win 28-14, it will be an offensive game, the defense the Texans will play better then par but not enough to birdie
Texans: 4-3

Great well written article, although I’m not a football fan!
Well written
Texans starting to live up to some of the preseason hype. This was a great game for me as I have Slaton and Vernon Davis on my fantasy team.
Great sum up for the game! Thanks!
very nice recap!
great review!!!
