Terrelle Pryor or Joe Bauserman?

Overrated! He sucks! Bench him! These are just some of the many comments regarding Terrelle Pryor’s performance in the past few days. Some people love him. Most don’t. Over the past couple of weeks here has been a lot of talk about Pryor’s play. True, it hasn’t been Heisman quality, but give him a break! He’s a sophomore! True, Tim Tebow was a sophomore and he won the Heisman. Pryor just needs time. It’s not all his fault on offense. Missed blocks, recivers not getting open, almost everyone shares in it. Someone misses a block, he scrambles away, throws it up or gets sacked. It’s not all his fault. I’ll say it again, he needs time. Some of the greatest quarterbacks in college were juniors or seniors when they got good. Sure, you can bench Pryor and put in Bauserman. I’m sure Bauserman would be fine. But, Pryor needs to be in there getting snaps and getting experience. To be honest, I have doubts too. Pryor may be a fluke and was only good in high school. But I have faith that with time, Pryor can lead the Buckeyes to the championship and win it. All the critics need to just be quiet and let him develop.
