Super Bowl Sunday 2011

Now being a Rams fan i continually get disappointed during the season.  But, this year looked better.  But, no playoffs.  The only good part about this well, i can not be objective or favoring in this year once again.  

We have the Packers vs. The Steelers.  A good game between two vary good defense and two of the best quarterbacks in the game.  

I predict that the Packers will win just because though they may not have as good of defense as the Steelers, They have Rodgers and that makes all the difference.  I can see the argument about the Steelers, then again Big Ben is amazing, but even with out him in the beginning of the season they managed to do okay.  Troy Polamalu is the best defensive back in the NFL, he can read the field like none other.  He knows where the ball will be and will and should get atleast one pick in the superbowl.  Matthews for the Packers though, is another threat.  He can be all over the field, where it is making sure the opposition does not get that extra yard or getting a sack, he is one of the better Linebackers in the game.  Now they say that defense wins championships, well in this game it is all about who is able to penetrate the defense the fastest.  This will be an extremely close game and it will come down to who can take advantage of field position.

If the Packers win they will have to cause a distraction for the defensive backs of the Steelers by sending Driver deep and then getting the Running plays in.  Not only this but Rodgers will need pinpoint accuracy.  

If the Steelers were to win they will have to shut down Rodgers and close down the passing game.  This is essentially the key.  Also need Big Ben to be able to make plays when necessary and not throw any picks.

The score of the game if the Packers win will be 17 to 10 because of the great defense both they and the Steelers have and this is the most likely of the out comes.  This is also my  personal favorite to win.

If the Steelers win, the score will be 27 to 14.  If the Steelers can shut down the offense and have an amazing performance on offense this will be the score most likely.

I still say that the best bet with the Packers.
