Big Games
Green Bay @ Detroit – Detroit have been playing badly for quite a while with only one win from 2008 onwards. Although Green Bay did get beaten by the lowly Bucs, I don’t think A-Rod will lose to another massive underdog. Packers will win.
Oakland @ Dallas – Oakland have had two major upsets this year, against the Eagles and Bengals, however they were at home for both those matches. Dallas have just come off a tough win against the Redskins, and will be tired. Although Oakland will have a chance if their offense can actually turn up (McFadden maybe) the cowboys will most likely be too strong. Cowboys will win.
New York Giants @ Denver – This will be an interesting game, the giants have recently finished their losing streak and the Broncos have lost four straight. However Eli Manning looked awesome against the Falcons. Giants will win.
Washington @ Philadelphia – McNabb has come over a fairly good perfomance against the bears although their offense did give away 2 of 3 forced fumbles. The redskins defense has been turning up as of late and will give the eagles a strong challenge. If this were to be played in DC I would pick the Redskins. Eagles will win.
Indianapolis @ Texans – Texans are coming of a tough and maybe unlucky loss to the Titans (with the harsh penalty on 3rd down). The colts however are unstoppable this year, mainly due to Manning. However I think this strong run will come to an end here, the Texans have been getting closer to beating the colts every year and now its time. Texans will win.
Jacksonville @ San Francisco – Battle of the teams based around the running game. This game will be won by who plays better out of the RB’s Gore and Jones-Drew. Out of these I think Mo-Jo Drew is the better candidate at the moment, although both will struggle against the strong defences. Jaguars will win.
Chicago @ Minnesota – Culter has just not been in touch with his recievers at all this season. Favre on the other hand has fit in well with the Vikings and this will prove vital. Keep an eye out for the bears RB Bell he could play a factor after looking decent against the eagles. However The Vikings will win.
Arizona @ Tennessee – The key matchup here will be the Titans DB’s versus Larry Fitzgerald and crew. The Cardinals have been stopping the run well so should limit Chris Johnson a bit, if thats possible. A pure rushing team meets a pure passing team. The pure passing team will win, Cardinals will win.
Pittsburgh @ Baltimore – Massive rivalry between these two with massive hits. The Steelers are the more complete team and have more experience than the Ravens. However after bitter defeat in the playoffs last year by the Steelers the Ravens have pride to play for. Ravens will win.
New England @ New Orleans – Will the saints remain unbeaten? My answer is no. The saints have the most turnovers this season so far which I think will be the same after this game. Although Brees has the ability to put the ball in the endzone whenever and from wherever, so does Brady. The only problem I have with the Pats is their late collpase against the Colts although I’m going to blame that on the coach. Pats will win.
Other Winners
Miami over Buffalo
St.Louis over Seattle
Tampa Bay over Atlanta
Cincinnati over Cleveland
Carolina over New York Jets
San Diego over Kansas City
