Rowan’s Week 11 NFL Predictions

My predictions for the NFL games in week 11.

Miami @ Carolina - This will not be a close game, the Dolphins will lose this one by a long way. They have been fairly lucky recently, against the Jets and Bucs. Also the Panthers are on form. Ronnie Brown had to leave the field against the Bucs, so may not be in best condition. Panthers will win.

Indianapolis @ Baltimore – This would be a close game, if the colts did not have Peyton Manning at the helm. Although I think the ravens will put up a very good fight, I don’t think Peyton will be subdued. Colts will win.

Washington @ Dallas – The cowboys are the stonger team although the winning streak was ended by the Packers. The Redskins did pull of a win against the Broncos but they will have a tough time against the better passing offense Dallas has. This could be an upset special but I don’t have the confidence to predict it. Cowboys will win.

Cleveland @ Detroit - Pretty insignificant game here, possibly a fight for first draft pick. I think Stafford has what it takes to win this game at home, Brady Quinn is just not getting any help at QB. Detroit will win.

San Francisco @ Green Bay - Good recovery win for the Packers last Sunday and this will full them with confidence against the fairly mediocre 49ers. Although Alex Smith and co. will put up a good fight, the Packers will win.

Buffalo @ Jacksonville – What has happened to the Bills this season after yet another fairly good start? They lose confidence dso quickly. Personally I think Jauron should be fired soonish. The Jaguars offense has been productive recently and will be key here. Jaguars will win.

Pittsburgh @ Kansas City – Fairly easy pick to make, the steelers don’t usually lose to teams without many wins. On top of that Mendenhall the RB for the steelers has been performing well which KC won’t be able to stop. Steelers will win.

Seattle @ Minnesota – The Vikings are showing themselves as strong contenders for the superbowl this year, especially in the NFC. Seattle need a win to keep in touch with the divisional leaders, Arizona. However they won’t pull this one off unless Hasselbeck has a monstrous game. Vikings will win.

Atlanta @ New York Giants – The Giants need some help in getting back on track in their division. The help has come in the form of Michael Turner’s injury. The falcons will be one dimensional without him. Giants will win.

New Orleans @ Tampa Bay – Brees has been unstoppable all season and has to be a strong contender for MVP. Tampa Bay’s new QB, Josh Freeman, is looking good, especially in 4th quarter situations. The Bucs will put up a strong fight in this rivalry. Although the Saints are by far the better team, my loyalty to the Bucs overrides me. Bucs will win.

Arizona @ St.Louis - Warner and the Cardinals have been solid as of late. The Rams have shown potential in the last few weeks. I think they will get better with Spags although patience will be needed. Cardinals will win

San Diego @ Broncos – A few weeks ago this match may have been an irrelevant divisional match. However the broncos have lost three straight and will make it a four game losing streak as the Chargers are on fire. Even LT got 2 TD’s on Sunday. Chargers will win.

New York Jets @ New England – There is no way that the Patriots will be swept by the Jets this year, especially after the heartbreaking loss of the Pats to the Colts in the last few minutes. Sanchez will be harrassed all game and Brady will continue his form. Patriots will win.

Cincinatti @ Oakland – The black hole is a tough place to play, however the Chiefs did beat the raiders in their backyard last Sunday. The Bengals look pretty flawless and will continue their form here. JaMarcus Russell is just not up to it. Benglas will win.

Philadelphia @ Chicago – Cutler will take some time to recover from his five interceptions against the 49ers. The Eagles are not the team you want to face after that kind of nightmare, which will continue this weekend. The Eagles will quickly forget their loss to the chargers. Eagles will win.

Tennessee @ Houston – This game will be good. The titans are the comeback team in the last few weeks with Vince Young looking awesome. However Houston’s Matt Schuab has also been awesomely good this season, and will prove to be very reliable here. So long as Slaton or Moats do not fumble it, the Texans will win.
