Playoff preview.

New Orleans Saints (10-0)

Things are looking good in the Big Easy.  Assuming they beat the Pats at home, the only real hurdle is Dallas, and that’s at home as well.

Schedule:

New England

@ Washington

@ Atlanta

Dallas

Tampa Bay

@ Carolina

Prediction16-0.  The Saints will be the second team to finish a regular season undefeated at 16-0.

Minnesota Vikings (9-1)

Favre will see one last playoff run, and has a mild chance of seeing a Super Bowl.

Schedule:

Chicago

@ Arizona

Cincinnati

@ Carolina

@ Chicago

New York Giants

Prediction15-1.  The collision between the Vikings and Saints looks to be epic.  (Barring major upset)

Dallas Cowboys (8-3)

They’ve been up and down, and the schedule is rough, but two more wins ought to do it.

Schedule:

@ New York Giants

San Diego

@ New Orleans

@ Washington

Philadelphia

Prediction: 11-5.  Will win NFC East, but it’ll come down to the last game against Philly.

Arizona Cardinals (7-3)

Another trip to the playoffs is assured, if only because the NFC west is pretty bad.  Another Super Bowl run is unlikely.

Schedule:

@ Tennessee

Minnesota

@ San Fransisco

@ Detroit

St. Louis

Green Bay

Prediction10-6.  Losses against the Titans and Vikings; will have playoff seed locked up and rest starters against Green Bay.

Green Bay Packers (7-4)

The offense will move the ball on anyone.  And they’re getting better by the week.  The O line isn’t ’shored up’, but it’s good enough to get them to the post season.

Schedule:

Baltimore

@ Chicago

@ Pittsburgh

Seattle

@ Arizona

Prediction: 11-5.  Pittsburgh on the road will be tough, but they should win 4 more games.

Philadelphia Eagles (6-4)

The battle for the NFC east should come down

Schedule:

Washington

@ Atlanta

@ New York Giants

San Fransisco

Denver

@ Dallas

Prediction10-6.  Between Falcons, Giants, and Cowboys, they’ll lose 2 games.

New York Giants (6-5)

They looked so good early.  Then we all realized that they were the NFC’s version of the Broncos.

Schedule:

Philadelphia

@ Washington

Carolina

@ Minnesota

Prediction8-8.  No playoffs for you.

NFC East Champ:  Dallas Cowboys

NFC West Champ:  Arizona Cardinals

NFC South Champ:  New Orleans Saints

NFC North Champ:  Minnesota Vikings

Wild Card Teams:  Green Bay Packers, Philadelphia Eagles.

The Saints would be the THIRD team, not the 2nd team to finish a regular season undefeated….Dolphins and Pats were the 1st and 2nd.

That’s why it says “at 16-0″. The Dolphins weren’t 16-0.

Guess you idiots really screwed up your Philly predictions, huh? They will SMASH the Cowgirls in the last game of the season, and Denver will be no harder to beat than the drubbing they dealt San Fran…..the 12-4 Eagles will go to the Super Bowl after steamrolling the Aints, mark my words.
