I got the season off to a good start with the Giants losing to the Dallas Cowboys. Let’s keep this momentum going with the losers for Week One in the NFL. Everyone gives you winners. I give you losers. Let’s start with the easy and big losers for Sunday’s games.
Indianapolis coming off their 1-15 season and without Peyton Manning, will lose big time to the Chicago Bears.
Cleveland Browns, just a horrible football team will lose to the Eagles.
Washington Redskins sadly will be better with RG3. But they will still lose big time to the explosive Saints in their dome.
Miami Dolphins always disappointing, will lose to the playoff bound Houston Texans.
St. Louis Rams will lose to the improving Detroit Lions.
Let’s do the close games.
Buffalo at the Jets. Jets are not that good at home and not that good at the start of the season. Buffalo has the strong start that they had last seasons. Loser is the Jets.
New England at Tennessee- Will this be a 15-1 New England team or a 10-6 team. Same questions on the Titans. Got to tilt toward NE in this one. Loser is the Titans.
Jacksonville at Minnesota- Minnesota has faded since their dome collapsed and Favre retired. Problems in the quarterback area. Going to go with a mild upset here. Loser is the Vikings.
Atlanta at Kansas City- Kansas City owns the NFC at home. You could make a lot of money on this. Look at the record. Just go back to last year. They were the only team to beat the King of Football, Green Bay, in the regular season last year. Loser will be the Falcons.
San Francisco at Green Bay- King of Football, Aaron Rogers, returns for a match between the teams that lost to the Giants on their way to the Super Bowl. Going with the King at home. Loser will be the San Francisco.
Carolina at Tampa Bay- Cam Newton begins his second season. He gets off to a good start. Loser will be Tampa Bay.
Seattle at Arizona- A tough to figure game with tough to figure NFC West Teams. I’ll go with the home team. Loser will be Seattle.
Pittsburgh at Denver- Steelers return to Denver where they got tebowed in the playoffs. But they will have to deal with Peyton Manning in his Denver debut. Revenge game and Peyton will be rusty. Loser Denver.
I will be back on Monday with the losers for the two Monday night games
