Fiesta Bowl

The Mountaineers did it. They won the Fiesta Bowl. The previous days before the Fiesta Bowl on most of the sports channels they was talking about Bradford, a quarterback for the Oklahoma Sooners. It was said that he was a good quarterback and that he was going to win. It is true that he is a good quarterback. He just couldn’t handle WVU. He was sacked four times by WVU.

Patrick White guided West Virginia to a stunningly win over Oklahoma. White ran 150 yards and threw 176 yards not including two touchdowns to take the win over Oklahoma. The final score was 48-28. Steve Slayton was injured during the game and the Mountaineers overcome that obstacle. Noel Devine replaced Slayton and ran for 108 yards and 2 touchdowns. The Mountaineers became the first of six teams to win under an interim coach this bowl season. Well that will wrap it up.
