Good pickups for week nine.

So here we are going into week 9 and some of our teams will be put to the test, while others get off easy. Buffalo, Cleveland, Minnesota, New York Jets, Oakland, and St. Louis have there bye weeks this week so sit any players from those teams. I’m going to list some players that you can pick up and play this week some good results if need be.
1. Julius Jones – RB – Seattle – 3 Touchdowns – 364 rushing yards
This guy is already owned in most fantasy leauges but if not be sure to pick him up for this week. Sure hes not really doing all that great but he is playing the Lions, and lets be honest if your playing them you dont have to be great.
2. Justin Forsett – RB – Seattle – 0 Touchdowns – 109 rushing yards
With the release of Edgerrin James, Forsett becomes the number 2 for Seattle. Granted that may not mean much to most of us but if Jones gets hurt or plays back he will start. Also with Seattle playing the lions he should be fine to play if you need a back this week.
3. Jonathan Stewart – RB – Carolina – 4 touchdowns – 360 rushing yards
Alright we all know that Carolina isn’t the best team in the world but when it comes to running backs they are a good team. Deangelo Williams is already on someones team and will more then likely put up better numbers but if your have a player on the bye week grab this guy and keep him.
4. Chris Henry – WR – Cincinatti – 2 Touchdowns – 216 receiving yards
With the way Carson Palmer is playing right now and the way the Baltimore D is agianst the pass this is a good play this week if you need a WR. Hes not the number one or really two guy but I think in this game he should beable to get some yards and a TD.
5. Mike Sims-Walker – WR – Jacksonville – 3 touchdowns – 407 recieving yards
Let me just start by saying I own Sims-Walker and played him last week, I know he had a horrible week thanks to Garrard. The matchup this week is way better for him and they are playing at home and he has great games at home. Not to mention after how bad they played last week you know they are fired up this week.
6. Alex Smith – QB – San Francisco – 4 Touchdowns – 404 passing yards
In just two games San Fran is a team that you are scared to play agianst again simply because Alex Smith is putting up numbers no one expected. Hes playing the Titans this week which are not very good agianst the pass, unless your Garrard in which case you suck no matter where you play at excpet home.
7. Jason Campbell – QB – Redskins – 8 touchdowns – 1481 passing yards
I hate that I have to put Campbell on the list but Atlanta is just not doing well right now. If you really have no other choice grab Campbell and hope that he can connect with his recivers this game and you should be alright.
Defenses – Grab Green Bay, Seattle, Indianpolis, or San Francisco. The matchups are good for those teams.
Alright so I didn’t even bother mentioning Ryan Moats because odds are you or someone else in the leauge already has him, if not pick him up Slaton is messing up to much right now.
Hopefully this helped you and you win the week, Good luck!
