Firstly, this mo-fo was livin in his brothers shadow, he’s no Peyton Manning, never was, never will be. So quit comparing. Secondly, he rigged the god-dammed draft. (As did John Elway, but we like him.) If right now you think i’m crazy for thinking that, let me explain…
The year Eli Manning was coming out of college to be drafted into the NFL, he was scouted to be the #1 draft pick. It just so happened that the last place, thus the first draft pick, San Diego Chargers needed a QB. So everyone, including Eli, knew that they would pick him up first in the draft. But here’s where it gets good, he told the Chargers and a handful of other teams that if they picked him, he wouldn’t play. So therefore they passed him up.
So if you think he led the New York Giants to a super bowl all by himself, think again.
