It will be a crazy year for football this season. I am really excited to see what happens. This year Florida will be #1 with their starting quarterback Tim Tebow winning the Heisman Trophy for the second year in a row. Many people believe that Georgia will become the National Champion this year, but Georgia will choke at the most important time (the end of the season.) LSU will have another close to undefeated year, and by their luck will be chosen to play Florida in the National Championship.
This year many teams ranked not as high could make some noise. Utah could go undefeated. With their first game at Michigan they could pull an upset. With a struggling Michigan team with a brand new Coach and quarterback. Utah also has Oregon State, BYU, and TCU all at home this year. With those four wins the rest of the season will be a piece of cake, and then they will have their second BCS appearance.
Another team that could make a surprise is BYU (A Mountain West Conference team along with the Utah Utes.) This year BYU is downgrading their schedule in order to make a BCS bid. Meanwhile Utah is upgrading their schedule by playing Michigan and Oregon State. If BYU beats TCU and Utah on the road they will have a great shot at making a BCS game.
This year is going to be an exciting year. I could see a lot of upsets coming this year. I think many teams and players will surprise people this year. You’ll just need to sit by the T.V. and soak it all in. So lets get ready for the 2009 college football season!

dang shawn johnson is so fricken hot!!!
You rank Mich, Tenn, Aub, and Ill but not Notre Dame? They’re the only ones of that list to win a bowl game this year!
where is florida state they had a great season with a young team and next year theyre only losing two main offensive players, Greg Carr and Antoine Smith, and the defense will take a minor hit but i definitley think we are going to be ranked on the preseason polls rather high defintley higher than Wisconsin who we killed in the Champs Sports Bowl and defintley higher than Michigan who is in danger of another losing season
Where the hell are the Iowa Hawkeyes? they were the only Big 10 team to have a bowl win?
