Brandon Marshall

Brandon Marshall is living a dream that so few get to experience.  Somewhere it seems, he lost what Apollo Creed in Rocky III referred to as, “The eye of the tiger”.  He seems to have become more and more concerned with how much he is being paid, whether or not he is going to be traded, and off the field controversies.  

Whenever I turn on ESPN, I always have to see and hear something about Marshall.  ”I am unhappy”, “I want to be traded”.  For God’s sake man, shut up and play football.  The reason why nobody wants to trade for you is because they think that you carry too much baggage for the Broncos’ asking price.  And what would be the best way to prove them wrong???  The best way is to make a decent quarterback with a weak arm look like he was the best thing since sliced bread.  I get so tired of hearing about how players won’t play unless they get paid the big bucks, or they will sit out unless they get a trade and just be a menace to the team.  I would give my right nut to be able to do what they do for a living.  I am not sure if they know what the rest of the United States does for their living, but it sure as hell isn’t playing a game and being adored by thousands of people on a daily basis.

Pretty much, be thankful for the gifts that God gave you and do your job as He has given you the light to see that job.
