The Auburn Tigers are going to have a tough 2009 football schedule. They are coached by a new man from Iowa State,(5-19), named Gene Chizik. He has put together an incredible staff, including Gus Malzahn on offensive coordinator, and Ted Roof as the Defensive Coordinator. The QB Situation is wide-open, the main contenders are thought to be Chris Todd, Tyrik Rollison, Barrett Trotter, and Kodi Burns. The teams defence lost a couple of good players, but I think they can stay pretty good. I really think they will improve on the offensive side of the ball. Gus Malzahn can work some magic. I think Mario Fannin will be huge next season.
Here is my prediction for the Tigers next year(schedule is subject to change):
9/5: West Virginia-W
9/12: Mississippi State – MSU website-W
9/19: Kentucky-W
9/26: Ball State – Press Register-W
10/3: @Tennessee – UT website-W
10/10: @Arkansas – secfootball.itgo.com-W
10/17: Southern Miss – secfootball.itgo.com-W
10/24: @LSU – LSU website-L
10/31: Ole Miss – secfootball.itgo.com-L
11/7: Furman – OA News-W
11/14: @Georgia – secfootball.itgo.com-W
11/21: OPEN
