The NFL is the most watched American sport, but who dominates within the sport?

Well in the NFC you have the Manning led Giants, the Vikings behind AP and the old aged Farve, the Eagles with the controversial Vick, and the Saints with the dominate QB Brees. There is no mistaking that the Giants and Vikings have a strong defense as well as great running games but can Farve last all season and can Manning continue to get no name receivers to perform? The Eagles have been surprisingly successful without their starting QB but when will Vick start to demoralize the city and bring down the team? The saints have fire power galore but will they execute for an entire season?

The AFC has the two teams with multiple Superbowl’s this decade in New England and the terrible towel Steelers, also are the New York Jets, Peyton and the Colts, the super talented Chargers, and yes the surprising Denver Broncos. First off lets understand that Denver isn’t as good as any of these other teams but in another regard they still win despite being one of the least talented NFL teams. The Patriots have Tom Brady back but Brady cant even perform as well as Cassell did last season, uhh ohh. The Colts are without their coach and ex superstar Harrison. The Steelers started off great against last years #1 but has since seemed unable to put everything together. What can you say about the Jets? They are not the most talented group but yet they seem so strong. The Chargers never are able to put together a real team so they’re out.

Don’t worry i didn’t forget the almighty Ravens. This is what sets the AFC over the NFC. The sure heart of the AFC is larger. Ray Lewis is no where near his prime but his Ravens are considered the best in the league at the moment. The Denver Broncos have no reason to be where they are in the standings yet their heart keeps them there. Also just by breaking down some single facts the AFC dominates. Best two QBs: Manning and Brady. Best clutch kicker: Ex Patriot and now current Colt Adam V. Best Wide recievers over past decade: Moss and Owens. Best defenses over past decade: Ravens, Steelers, and New England. Best running back before AP: LT.

The AFC will dominate until Brady and Manning are retired as well as the powerhouse of coaches in New England, New York, Tennesse, and Steeler nation.

Good luck to the underdogs: the whole NFC.
