Keeping a Catch Fresh

One way to keep your just caught fish, fresh.

You’re off-shore/on-shore fishing, and you’ve just caught a fish. He is a keeper, and you want to have him for lunch/dinner. You don’t know how to keep him fresh, so you just lay him on your boat or on the dock and let him sit there until you’ve finished. WRONG!

In order to keep your fish alive and fresh after catching him you should immediatley put the fish in a cooler of ice. Fill the cooler almost all the way to the brim so if you catch another one, you can keep the new catch alive and fresh too!
