Fishing

Fishing is one of my favorite sports.

I like it because it doesn’t involve to much moving around, although if u get a big steel head you may be running up and down the beach to try and keep it on.

Anyways its also challenging but still fun.

Most people don’t like fishing because either they think its cruel or they don’t catch many fish witch makes it boring.

Personally i think fishing is fun even if you don’t catch many fish. I like just being out on the water in a boat or on the bank.  Of course catching fish makes it a lot more fun.

I prefer fly fishing and i tie my own flies witch i also find a lot of fun. I find fly casting extremely challenging and i troll for the most part but i do try to cast sometimes. It usually does not catch me any fish.

I fish mainly for trout but a few times a year i go out on the river to try and catch some coho although in about four years we’ve only had one coho hooked, a few bites and a couple of cutthroats.

My biggest fish is an almost 5lb rainbow trout that i caught up close to Prince George, BC, Canada.

I caught it on my home tied variant of a spruce fly, so i was naturally quite happy.
