lets go fishing a great way to relax and have fun.even better when you catch fish.well I’m going to give you some great tips.i have fished the delta and bay for 20 plus years.this what i found out.remember it makes for a good trip.have the right bait and check the tides and go at the right time.oh and the right place.the best time to go fishing 2 hours before sun up and 2 hours sun set.if you don’t have a tide book most bait stores have them.but most bait stores have time of the tides and height posted.if you don’t like to wait hours to catch a fish the delta is the way to go.they have bass,sturgeon,catfish,carp,black bass.i found the best bait to use is pile worm,shad,chicken liver,and anchovies and grass shrimp.best location Brennan island and Decker island.the bay has several public piers you can use 2 poles and you don’t need a licence.a couple of piers i can tell you about. the Berkley pier has halibut,bass,stingray,sharks,sturgeon,and king fish.paradise cove located in marin halibut,sturgeon,bass,king fish.also pin-ole pier has some great fishing all the piers i mentioned are public piers and good fishing spots.best way to catch bass two hook leader size 2 hook bait pile worm,anchovies,grass shrimp, 3 to 4 once sinker.best way to catch halibut single hook set up for anchovies.live anchovies best bet.best way to catch sturgeon single hook set up with cable leader size 4 to size6 hook best bait pile-worm,grass shrimp,mud shrimp,eel.best way to catch catfish two hook set up three to four once sinker best bait pile worm,anchovies,chicken liver.
