Bullfighting is a traditional sport for countries like Portugal, Spain and some part of France. Bullfighting involves one or more bulls ritually killed in a ring in front of spectators, while there is a professional toreros, a person who fights with the bull in the ring by distracting and angering the bull leading to injuries to bull.

The final blow is given to the bull with the thrust of the sword. Bullfighting has been able to create lot of controversies over time. Bullfight supporters argue that it is a traditional sport and reflects the culture of their ancestors while, animal rights associations and groups considers this as a brutal blood sport.

The largest ring for the bullfight is located in Mexico City known as “Plaza de toros Mexico” and has capacity of 40,000 viewers.

History of bullfight goes down to Roman Empire and it is believed that bullfight was hosted as an entertainment successor for Gladiator fights. During the reign of king Claudius after banning Gladiator fights, he arranged bullfight for his people. Slowly and steadily game became popular and spread in other countries and empires.
