“I’ll Have Another”, winner of the Kentucky Derby and the Preakness Stakes, has been scratched from Satuday’s race. The horse, the best hope racing fans have had for a triple crown winner since 2008’s Big Brown, was a 4-5 favorite early Thursday morning. This sudden scratch is sure to deflate fans planning to attend the races on Saturday. It is estimated that less than 30,000 people will arrive to see the race Saturday morning. Dullahan, the new favorite, has more abyssmal odds. The fairly unknown horse comes in at 9-5, barely outweighing the compettion. Though the race was sure to be dramatic if I’ll Have Another were to win, it is sure to be just as dramatic now, with a more even field of horses.
