Cycling is fun and makes your body fat reduced. However, ramped up the bike for women could reduce the sensation to enjoy desire. Based on research conducted at Yale University, United States, cyclist’s women will feel the lack of genital sensation.
That is when they ride with the kind of bikes that have handlebars lower than the saddle. According to researchers, low handlebar position putting extra strain on the nerves and blood vessels in the genital area, or neuropathy.

“Handlebars are positioned lower than the saddle is correlated with a saddle that cause perineal pressure increases. As a result, decreased genital sensation and left anterior vaginal labial,” said one researcher told the Daily Mail
The findings were based on analysis of 48 women who each women ride a bike and at least ramped up to 16 kilometers per week. Researchers recommend that women who enjoy cycling to modify the mount to raise the handlebars. That was done to help alleviate the neuropathy in women.

This study helps women who love cycling but often forget about the effects on women’s sexual health. Previous research had also revealed that cycling in the long term causes of erectile dysfunction in men.
